When it's time to relax,
Tropical Sun Beach Resort is
ready to accommodate!

 When
you’re vacationing on beautiful, sensual Siesta Key, it’s
very easy to lapse into total relaxation mode. Since the key is
so self-contained, you might never want to leave it until departure
day.
Tropical Sun
Beach Resort is equal distance from the north and south ends of
the key, and each end has its own distinct attractions. The south
tip offers a more laid-back lifestyle, with kayak and motorboat
rentals available. Navigating and exploring the natural wonders
of Little Sarasota Bay is a memorable
experience for all visitors. Seeing dolphins
or manatees for the first time in the wild will make a Siesta Key
vacation even more unforgettable and might even be an enticement
to return. Families can grab a quick meal at Midnight Pass Marina
or Turtles and, for serious gourmets, nothing beats an evening of
fine dining bayside at Ophelia’s, which even has dockside
moorings.
The north
end of Siesta Key has the always-spirited and very popular Siesta
Village, where visitors can choose among a variety of casual restaurants
from Italian to Chinese to American. In addition, there are our
versions of three-star restaurants, such as Bella Roma, the Lobster
Pot and Maximo’s. Indoor dining, outdoor dining and takeout
are available almost everywhere. Music, dancing, DJ’s, and
live entertainment are offered in many restaurants and bars in the
village, and the Beach Club is open until 2:00 AM every day.
Another marvelous
way to appreciate the key’s ambience is to rent a bike.Siesta
Sports Rentals offers every variety and size—for families
and singles as well as their piece de resistance, a canopied four-seater
that is a real conversation starter. Wide bike paths along both
sides of Midnight Pass Road make navigating very easy and safe.
For devout
hedonists, who like nothing better than all their comforts within
reach, we have an extensive variety of choices. Amenities include
our heated swimming pool, shuffleboard courts and less than a two
minute walk to the beach. You can explore the gulf by renting a
paddleboat or going on a kayak tour. An excellent way to meet people
is to join in a friendly game of beach volleyball.
If you’re
lucky enough to be here on Sundays at sunset, you can join the crowds
at Siesta Beach to dance or listen to the heated drum beats of many
participants as we say thank you and bid farewell to another beautiful
day in paradise.

Best of all, the beach is only a short walk
from the resort. Click
